December 20, 2007

Anti-vibration and structural isolation specialist, CMS Vibration Solutions, has expanded its technical team, with the appointment of Patrick Dent as sales engineer to the company’s fast track graduate scheme.

By following a comprehensive training programme, Dent will become expert in CMS Vibrations’ product portfolio, which includes the market leading Regupol RAV and Regufoam materials from BSW, and the extensive range of HVAC and architectural isolation systems from Kinetics Noise Control.

Responsible for providing technical support at specification level, Dent will advise on the most cost effective system for a project and ensure materials are delivered on-site and within site programmes. Also within Dent’s remit will be guidance on, as well as the installation of, specialist anti-vibration products.

Commenting on joining CMS Vibrations, Dent said: “Anti-vibration is a highly specialist area so there is a lot to get my teeth into. I wanted to work with CMS Vibrations because the company has the widest product portfolio on the market, which will enable me to gain meaningful and broad experience across the construction, industrial and infrastructure sectors.”

Having already achieved CMS Vibrations approved engineer status, Dent has provided installation support on a number of projects, including One Southampton Row and Hereford College.

Dent joins CMS Vibrations after completing a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering at Bristol University. While completing his Masters, Dent undertook work placements with Bentley and Budenberg Guage Company.
