Industrial Noise & Vibration

Industrial noise and vibrations present particular problems, largely due to the sheer volume of noise and vibration created in industrial environments. For this reasons, there are stringent regulations regarding noise and vibrations at work. The Control of Vibration at Work Regulations 2005, came into force on 6 July 2005 and aim to protect workers from risks to health from vibration. The regulations introduce action and limit values for hand-arm and whole-body vibration. Similarly, the Noise at Work Regulations are intended to protect workers from the potential of Noise Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL). CMS Vibration Solutions’ curtain enclosures, sound absorbers, noise barrier materials, spring dampers, spring hangers and anti-vibration pads are all designed to meet the latest regulations.
